EARLY PAGES

Here's the earliest pages of anything Bytemind related I have.

Now, you might be wondering, "What the hell, this is just Sonic!"

And dear reader, you'd be right. A lot of Bytemind's core story concepts some from a scrapped Sonic fan comic I was making titled "Sonic 4".

The comic was supposed to take some time after the events of Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

I was gonna go with that until I realized, "Wait, I should just, like, do my own thing.", and so I did.

Here's some early pages from the first actual formation of what Bytemind would become titled "Jammin'World: Robot Wars".

The general plot of this one was that Paz was gonna be some sort of exile who was sent to be isolated on a planet.

Paz was going to be fully oblivious of this fact and he was going to treat his exiling as a vacation.

All of a sudden, one day, Byte Thousandstar rolls along in his flying space city powered by planets, captures Paz, and destroys his planet.

After that, various wacky things would ensue. Paz would get his hat and scarf-thing, and he'd meet J-Mod in jail or something.

This concept was interesting and I intend on re-using various snippets of ideas I had for it for Bytemind.

This is where I actually started developing Bytemind as "Bytemind". Well, kinda.

On some pages, you'll see "Jammin'Universe: Bytemind" as Bytemind, at one point, was meant to be an anthology of stories from across the universe.

Through these you can see Paz's design drastically change. I mean, hell, the dude didn't have pants at one point. He must've been real cold.

Next are some early pages from Bytemind Issue 1. Most of these interestingly start off the same, with Paz staring off into the city.

Here, I didn't really have much of an idea of how to start or what I should even do for the story of the first issue.

As a little bit of an extra, here's some more unused covers for Issue 1.
